Jack P Shepherd, who plays David Platt in Coronation Street, will be at
the Manchester Good Friday duck race. Jack's a supporter of the duck
race and turns up every year for it, so good on him!
The duck race starts today at 11am.
The Good Friday duck race sees a flotilla of rubber ducks turn the River Irwell into a sea of yellow. Thousands of rubber ducks will be launched at New Bailey bridge. Money raised will go towards helping local disabled children to follow the Brainwave therapy programme.
And Manchester Artist, Jo Cushing who runs Open Studios Art centre on Oxford Road in Altrincham has put her artistic talents to work in creating a Corrie legend Bet Lynch duck.
