In next week's Coronation Street we'll see Toyah betray Peter with a lie about her IVF treatment.
It starts when Peter tells Toyah they should put the IVF on hold until everything has settled down over Ken's attack. He doesn't want to go any further with their IVF until he's cleared his name and all the crazy Chloe stuff has gone away.
His decision upsets Toyah but she promises to phone the clinic and cancel the IVF session.
However, Toyah later reveals to Leanne that she went behind Peter’s back and had the embryos implanted as planned.

Hmm, Toyah is turning out to be a big disappointment. What a selfish thing to do.
That's pretty dishonest, Peter should have his say in trying to have a child with an assault charge hanging over his head. She used to be better than this.
Great way to go about securing a stable relationship for her and a possible baby. What happened to her wanting to have an honest relationship?
Naturally, this time it will work and it'll be the end of the relationship.
Oh, I don't know about that at least not a permanent break. This baby would be due around Christmas so the reconciliation practically writes itself.
No, a new year baby, not a Christmas one. Too late in the year for that
Ah, but you're forgetting that if the baby is born a bit early everyone can gather round the incubator and shed a holiday tear.;-)
Not only will the pregnancy be a magical success (because Peter didn't want it right now), Toyah will no doubt find herself with multiple babies... another "modern" challenge, as this is IVF and multiple embryos are used.
I haven't liked Toyah's character since her return. She's such a hypocrite, and this just makes it seem that Peter is just a vehicle to get a baby.
She must have heard about his magical ability to get women pregnant - should have just had a one-nighter with Steve instead, that would have done the trick!
Toyah knew Peter agreed to IVF just to make her happy. He didn't say he wouldn't continue, just that he wanted a break. So selfish - to hell with what anybody else wants or needs. What a great maternal figure she'll turn out to be.
