It's called The Solis Street Party and Beer Festival. A 1,500 capacity indoor beer hall will also fill one of the TV studio’s sound stages, stocked with a vast selection of local and European ales.
There will be dedicated gin and prosecco bars as well as a specially-created cocktail list and street food stalls fusing flavours from around the globe.
Party-goers can also look forward to live music and DJs playing everything from disco and funk to jazz and house grooves, accompanied by live saxophone and percussion.
Early bird tickets are on sale now priced at £5 from Skiddle.
All well and good, but, er, let's get back to the first line in this blog post about the party being "on the cobbles"... they've gone. They've been taken up.
We've all see the devastating pictures and we know where the cobbles have gone.
