Our favourite podcast, Conversation Street, has reached episode 250. Hosts Michael and Gemma have had a very special week and Podcast #250 celebrates all things Coronation Street. They spent several days in the Manchester area seeing Corrie locations in anticipation of their invitation from Connor McIntyre (Pat Phelan) to ITV studios and the Coronation Street set and where they had a very full day of shenanigans.
They visited a variety of locations first, from Ryecroft Hall which is used for many of the registry office weddings, to the Portland Basin where Richard Hillman and David Platt both drove cars in to watery graves. They had a drink in the Dog and Gun, too!
Their day on the set allowed them to view some filming and chat to a number of the actors who were very gracious to make some time to speak to them.
I'm tickled to bits that their day was so successful! I think I had a big grin on my face the whole time I listened! This episode has a bit of viewer feedback at the start to congratulate them on their podcasting anniversary and the rest is all about the visit.
Listen here.
