3 Coronation Street women doing Great Manchester Run
Coronation Street stars Tina O’Brien (Sarah Platt) and Cherylee Houston (Izzy Armstrong) will both take on the Manchester 10k run on Sunday, 28 May.
Tina will be raising money for the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital.
Cherylee completed last year’s Great Manchester Run in a high-tech wheelchair and will return for 2017, once more raising money for her own Triple C – Creative Confidence Collective, whose aim is to make theatre accessible for all. You can find out more on Cherylee's project here.
And a former honorary starter of the Great Manchester Run, ex-Coronation Street actor Denise Welch (Natalie Barnes) is a long-time supporter of the event, dating back to when she starred in Coronation Street. Denise will complete the 10k this year.
