The British Soap Awards takes place this coming Saturday 3 June at the Lowry in Salford.
It was going to be shown live on ITV but that has now changed. It will not be shown live, it will be shown recorded on Tuesday 6 June at 8pm instead.
The reason for the move is that the Britain's Got Talent Final has moved to Saturday 3 June instead of Sunday 4 June so as not to clash with Ariana Grande's 'One Love Manchester' benefit concert.
The official statement from ITV reads: "Ariana Grande's 'One Love Manchester' benefit concert is bringing artists and the public together, and will raise funds for the Red Cross's Manchester Emergency Fund. ITV and Britain's Got Talent have no desire to distract from this important cause, so we have taken the decision to move the Britain's Got Talent Final from Sunday night."
