The Sun today reports that Kym Marsh has been signed up to Coronation Street for another year. As ITV don't reveal details of the contracts which cast members sign, we can't say for sure if this is true or not - but I do hope it is.
Mr Curry Sauce tells The Sun: “The bosses are delighted with Kym. Over the past year she has been handed some really challenging storylines, and she has handled them all brilliantly. Michelle has supported Steve through depression, married him and fallen pregnant with his child. But it was the miscarriage scenes that really blew them away."
Last week The Sun reported that Shayne Ward and Cath Tyldesley, who play Aidan Connor and Eva Price, had signed up for another year too. So perhaps it's that time of year when contracts are being renewed - and details leaked to the press?
