Job Vacancy: Coronation Street 2nd Assistant Directors wanted

As we transition to six episodes, Coronation Street are looking for two experienced 2nd ADs to join their busy hard working team providing efficient back up to 1st Assistant Director ensuring smooth running of the shoot.

The 2nd Assistant Directors role is to be the main support to the 1st Assistant Director to ensure the smooth running of the block of episodes, to carry out efficient prep for the block and to keep the 1st Assistant Director informed of any changes or problems during the day, and provide proposed solutions. The role involves rescheduling where required, amending and re-issuing call sheets and liaising at all times with the 1st AD, Schedulers & Production Manager.

We will look to you to interpret accurately and promptly any instructions from the Production Manager to the 1st AD and have knowledge of all shoot activities on any day with ability to work across both as and when required to deal with cross overs, rescheduling and ensure all cast have their call times for the next day.

Our 2nd ADs will join us with previous experience of working within drama in this role, have excellent production knowledge and organisational skills. Enthusiasm and excellent communication skills are essential with the ability to work under pressure within schedule deadlines.

Due to the nature of the production absolute confidentiality is required.
