Poor Sally, she's going to go through another horrible time in Weatherfield. In next week's Coronation Street, we'll see Sally receive news that her breast cancer has returned. In the picture above, you can see Sally tell Tim the devestating news.
However, Inside Soap magazine
reveal that Sally's news comes from an online troll who is stalking Sally. It's a horrible, cruel joke to play - but who could be telling Sally these lies - and why?
Sally Dynevor, who plays Sally Metcalfe, tells Inside Soap magazine: "The call Sally gets from 'the hospital' is the last thing she expected. She really thought everything was OK after her last check up, so it's very frightening that apparently there may be a problem and they want to see her."
When it becomes obvious that the call from 'the hospital' is a hoax, Tim deletes all of Sally's social media accounts to try to protect her from the online troll.

Her troll is probably from the jobsite she recently organized the protest against. Doesn't she speak of her experiences publicly shortly before this call?
I can't see a builder getting involved in such a disgusting trolling incident. They would be annoyed by Sally but the fact is that their catcalling was pretty routine and Rosie hadn't been offended by it at first. If they got mad at anyone it would be Rosie for letting her mom believe she never went along with it and was equally angered by it.
I think this may be coming from that journalist or her assistant who aired Rosie's past. Sally didn't take that lying down so they may have gotten in hot water and be out for revenge.
