There's a great interview with Chris Gascoyne, who plays Peter Barlow in Coronation Street, in this week's Inside Soap magazine.
Chris talks about next week's Coronation Street, which he says will be "...a massive week for the Barlows" which "...could change the Barlows forever."
Chris says: "All of us were very excited when we were told about this massive week for the family, this could change the Barlows forever.
"It's a huge storyline that will have people talking, and I think everyone will have their own theories abou thow things are going to develop.
"Viewers seem to like it when things come out of the blue and this story has lots of twists and turns so hopefully we'll be able to keep surprising them."
What's it going to be, I wonder? Chris doesn't reveal anything more, of course, other than to say that Peter's past looks set to catch up with him.

My predictions: Adam returns, seeking vengeance on Ken; Peter temporarily falls off the wagon; Phelan (or a good mate) scams Ken who's too embarrassed to tell his children; Daniel reveals what's happened to him mother; Tracy is caught up in Amy's storyline. However, the Barlow siblings eventually put aside their differences with Ken in order to deal with Phelan.
I bet Ken is going to die... it would be ironic after Peter's outburst on Friday "you're dead to me" and it would tie in Tracy's sudden interest in the will, not to mention Phelan's 'revenge'
Maybe it will be connected to Chloe's identity. Didn't someone on this site comment once that Chloe might be a missing member of the Barlow family? It's notable that Peter, although tempted, hasn't given in to Chloe's advances. I seem to remember that Jason, years ago, had a close brush with Julie, almost sleeping with her, before finding out that she was his mother's half-sister. Could it be something like that?
Yes the rumor Chloe was actually Chloe Cunningham Ken's granddaughter through sleeping with a Susan Cunningham in 1960/61. Her father would be their child Lawrence.
I think Phelan will injure Ken somehow (fiddle with the kitchen's electrical system?) and he'll be in a coma for a while. His relatives will squabble over that DNR until he wakes up.
