It was only a few weeks ago when we blogged the last set of heartbreaking pictures. The bulldozers had moved in and demolition began earlier this month. You can see those pictures here.
But fear not. Although it looks (and is) heartbreaking for fans to see the old set in this state - unloved, uncared for, left to rot and ruin before the developers move in, there is a glimmer of hope.

What a waste! There was plenty of life left in those tours. So short-sighted!
Still looks pretty sturdy considering....I agree...what a waste. Could have been great for tours. Makes more sense as this is the original where all the memories are. And these tours would not interfere with the shooting of the show.
It's a shame that its closed again I wish you guys jut left it so people from all over the world could Visit the old corrie set and it was Manchester And ITV History I hope u guys open the New Set for people to visit thanks u from robert
