Next week in Coronation Street, we'll see Nick and Leanne rush baby Oliver to hospital after they notice a rash on Oliver’s back.
When they get to the hospital Leanne hands a barely conscious baby Oliver to the nurse. She orders Nick to call Steve to let him know what's going on with his son.
Nick quietly fumes at Leanne for this, while Leanne is beside herself with worry.
Do you think Corrie would kill off another baby so soon after the harrowing miscarriage storyline? I do hope not, but you just never know.

No. Too much storyline mileage still to be had with this kid!
Why even suggest this!!!
No I doubt they'd do that. I think it's contrived to get Steve a bit more under Nick's skin.
No u can't that's so cruel y cant these soaps have a happy ending happy family instead of this misery if it carries on il stop watching these soap I'm going through enough without this
No, the show is using the baby to stir up trouble between Nick, Leanne and Steve as well as Michelle. Plus Leanne waited forever to become a mother and the show needs to think of the future. Oliver isn't expendable, thankfully.
I also think it would be cruel for Leanne to lose Oliver after suffering a miscarriage.
Remembering how she wished Oliver had died instead of her son Ruari,I shudder to think how Michelle would react[possibly gleeful?] to the death of Steve's other son.
Maybe it would open Roberts to what Michelle is really like,
Robert's eyes could be opened just by Michelle not caring if Oliver is sick. I hope he only has an allergy and soon recovers.
Lots of potential for future storylines with Oliver and Leanne. Perhaps only the biological father can help Oliver and that would drive Nick dolally for sure. I hope Michelle reacts terribly and everyone not only Robert sees her true colours. I really dislike what has happened to Michelle's character. I especially hated the sleeping with Robert and throwing her wedding at Steve episode!
It is just a medication reaction...chill people. lol They wouldn't dare kill off that little one so soon after the stillbirth of Michelle's baby.
They've already confirmed he won't die. The reason for the story is to highlight the danger of double-dosing on baby meds in a split-parenting set up. I gather it's a growing social issue. No harm flagging it up with a storyline that fits pretty well into the ongoing narrative.
