BECKY PLAYS LISA LIKE A FIDDLE Knowing Lisa is due to meet Carla for lunch, Becky plots. Finding Becky on the street, clearly drunk, Lisa takes her home to sober her up. Becky explains she hit the bottle to block out the fact she’s lost everything. Having taken a shower, Becky descends the stairs wearing Lisa’s bathrobe, just as Carla arrives having been stood up. As Carla takes in the scene she’s devastated and orders Becky out of the house. When Lisa fails to back her up, could this be the end for Swarla? Meanwhile when Costello fails to show up for work Kit becomes concerned.
SARAH SUSPECTS THEO IS UP TO NO GOOD When Todd asks if he’s heard from Pete, Theo lies, making out Pete’s not returning his calls. Sarah clocks Theo and Pete looking pally as they climb into a van. Sarah taps on the window and demands to know what Theo’s doing. Theo reveals that he and Pete have signed a contract and he’s planning to surprise Todd. When Pete likens Sarah to an attack dog, Todd turns the corner to see Sarah squaring up to Theo and Pete. As a horrified Todd ushers her away, Theo’s incandescent.
ASHA CONSIDERS COMING HOME Dev visits Asha in the mental health unit. Asha explains that she’s ready to come home but whilst she knows she has the full support of her family, she’s worried as none of her friends have been in touch. Dev rounds on Summer, Nina and Amy for abandoning Asha and reveals that because of their lack of support, she’s not sure she wants to come home.
ELSEWHERE Chesney arrives at the hotel with pizzas for Debbie’s choir practice. But he’s taken aback to see Fiz in reception, wondering why she’s not at Cilla’s. Debbie and Glenda row over song choice for the choir.

So tired of the Todd/Theo storyline. We went through this already with Yasmeen and Jeff. I hope they're going to wrap this one up soon.
Me too. I'm tired of the Lisa/Becky/ Carla storyline too. When they were having yet another emotional, tearful discussion, I almost nodded off! They are going round in circles and nothing gets resolved. That's when it becomes tedious.
By talking about Sarah being toxic, it almost looked like Todd had a glimmer of what Theo is doing.
The Swarla story continues and that's one that I wish would wrap up soon. Have to say the actress playing Becky does a good job of making the audience dislike her. Thoroughly repugnant.
I still cry "Daniel Radcliffe's Mom!" every time she comes on screen.
Well, looking at the upcoming Christmas spoiler storylines I was horrified to see that Theo and Becky will still be on the street with their obnoxious storylines played by actors so wooden they wouldn't look out of place in a forest! Please powers that be end this misery for us! Otherwise I strongly recommend avoiding Corrie until the New Year if you don't want to witness these storylines being dragged out ad infinitum! Please writers, write some storylines that people actually want to see and enjoy, is it too much to ask?
I don't think the actress who plays Becky is that good.
She trots out her lines in fairly bland manner, but clearly the Corrie team disagreed as she was given the role. I wasn't convinced by her words, even when she was crying.
The actresses who play Carla, Lisa and Betsy do a great job.
I thought the actress who played the NHS patient that Asha dealt with was absolutely brilliant at playing someone with a horrid, nasty streak.
She really nailed it for me. I'd love to see her back, to stir up more trouble.
That's what you need for a schemer like Becky but she falls short for me.
I bet Becky was only pretending to be drunk. Nasty piece of work. Let her go to Spain and take stroppy Betsey with her.
Why can't Todd see that Theo is isolating him from all his friends? He's a psychopath.
We definitely need a Christmas cull of new characters! Is there any plane passing that can drop on their heads? ;)
