Hero Craig to the rescue in Bethany grooming storyline

Pic: Daily Mirror / Eamonn and James Clarke
It looks like Craig is going to be Bethany's hero, not just her friend, when he comes to her rescue in the grooming storyline.

Paparazzi pictures online this week show actor Lucy Fallon, who plays Bethany Platt, bloodied and crying after another ordeal at the hands of Nathan.

Lucy has been pictured huddled on a canal tow path, waking up in a bloodied mess from the night before. She's dazed and confused and as you can see in the picture above, it's Craig who finds her.

Viewers and charities have praised Coronation Street for tackling the harrowing storyline head-on.

You can see all of the pictures at the Mirror website.

Happy that Craig will come to the rescue. Hopefully it means this story is coming to an end.

Craig the gentle giant, Bethany's hero! You're right he is an underused character. I've often wondered why more of the kids on the street don't hang out together. Do kids still do that in their neighbourhoods?

I hope this is the start of launching Craig's character development into a constable 👮🏻
He's a wonderful character and we need to see more occupations on the cobbles.
