Coronation Street Blog: Our Friend Victoria

Last night, the BBC showed the first part of a six part show celebrating Victoria Wood. The programme's called Our Friend Victoria and is presented by Julie Walters. It was an excellent programme and I'm looking forward to next week's show already.

Many of Victoria Wood's friends and co-stars featured on the programme were also in Coronation Street, hence this blog post. Included in the show were Thelma Barlow (Mavis Riley), Shobna Gulati (Sunita Alahan), Susie Blake (Bev Unwin), Anne Reid (Valerie Barlow) and many more.

Julie Walters herself has often said she'd love to appear in Coronation Street. I cross my fingers every day that this might truly happen.
