Steve and Michelle heading for divorce in Coronation Street?
The Sun today are carrying a spoiler which says that Steve and Michelle are heading for divorce. If it's true - and remember it's The Sun so it may well not be - then it sounds as if the stress from the baby miscarriage will take its toll on the McDonalds.
Also, from the quote given from the mysterious Corrie source (whom we call Mr Curry Sauce) it sounds as if Michelle will find out about Steve being the daddy to Leanne's baby too.
Mr Curry Sauce tells The Sun: “Michelle finally discovers the extent of Steve’s betrayal and, as expected, she doesn’t deal with it lightly. She goes totally berserk and declares war on Steve. She brings in the lawyers and tells the love rat she’s going to divorce him.”

You forgot to mention that she is going to go for half of everything - including the Rovers.
She'll end up with Robert, how predictable!
No!
Stay strong and loyal to Steve.
It is certain she will find out about Lianne's baby - it is a soap after all, so it is as sure as a one night stand will lead to pregnancy, even for someone who has previously had trouble conceiving. Another certainty is that couples are never happy for long, except in very rare cases.
Hello - remember Will?
We obviously didn't need mr curry sauce to leak that storyline - we saw it coming weeks ago. That's why Robert was all lovey dovey with her and she, unfortunately lost the baby, of course it was all leading up to Michelle divorcing Steve. Why else would they have all the bother??
Michelle didn't actually commit adultery with Wil
Yay!!
Steve needs to get rid of her and start being a funny guy again. Michelle and Steve have no chemistry, imho. I prefer her with Robert. Let her go nag him for a while and set Steve free.
Steph's gone so Robert's a crew member short. Step forward, Michelle, who will move in with Robert and work at the Bistro. That leaves a vacancy at the Rovers. Ever so helpfully, Rosie has just arrived back on the scene.
She did commit adultery with Will. They may not have had sex, but she did get physical with him.
I hope Steve counters Michelle's divorce with her fling with Will and how he thought their marriage was over when she left to work on the cruise because Steve wasn't 'grateful' she and Will didn't go all the way.
I don't see how Michelle can claim half the Rovers as I think Liz is the legal owner.
Lynne from Ottawa -- I thought that Steve owns the pub but because of his past convictions, he could not be the liquor license holder so that's why it's Liz's name over the door.
Err, no she didn't! Definition of adultery
voluntary sexual intercourse between a married person and a person who is not their spouse.
No intercourse. No adultery. Don't think getting jiggy with it counts!
It's all very simple and has been decided ages ago. Michelle will leave Steve to be with Robert and Leanne will finally get fed up completely with Nick and probably end up with Steve or just maybe go back with Peter so that Eva, Leanne and Toyah are at complete odds. Kate, as already mentioned, will leave the factory and work at the Bistro. She then will find a new love who is already on the street, not Sophie, perhaps slimy Adam? Sinead will get pregnant by Daniel and leave Chesney so that breaks up that relationship. And so forth and so forth, round and round we go.
And they all lived happily ever after!
Good! Free them both up to find more suitable partners, or - heaven forbid - actually be single for awhile and figure out what to do with their lives!
She didn't commit adultery though by getting a bit randy in the sofa and snogging him, that's still cheating.
Splitting hairs by calling it adultery or cheating is just muddying the waters - I think we can all agree that she went too far, no?
I would like to see Steve single again. It would be interesting to see him trying to be part of the baby's life and struggling to make it work with Leanne, Nick and Amy, without Michelle's constant "woe is me" presence dragging him down and overshadowing all of his other relationships and interactions.
Not a huge fan of Michelle or Steve, but I thought the whole fiasco with Will reflected pretty well on Michelle. She was very tempted but ultimately stayed true to her marriage vows--despite Steve having abandoned her for 6 mths. Pretty good when most soap characters give into sexual temptation at the drop of a hat (Carla, Steve, Peter, Leanne, Becky). She's one of the few characters the writers have shown trying to maintain her relationship in a mature way despite a lot of different stresses. I don't blame her now for giving Steve the boot--apart from his infidelity, it would just be too painful to know that he still has a son while she has lost hers for ever. The unfairness and cruelty of that would tear me apart with anger--better for her to move on and start a new life! Jeanie
If the bar we're using is the typical behaviour of soap characters, then yes, Michelle comes across as a paragon of virtue, that's true, haha :)
good point, Laura. LOL. jeanie
