Now that Becky has gone, taking her horrible green parka with her, we need a new villainess and Jodie steps up to the mark, waiting 'til David's gone to the hospital before she starts (verbally) attacking Shona for abandoning her as a kid. Jodie's going to go single white female on Shona, n'est-ce pas?
Talking of teenage parents, Megan 'fesses up to Will that she's pregnant and it's not Daniel's. Will reacts like no teen boy ever and says he will look after her and the baby, but she seems keener on going to live with her sister. He should take a hint and realise when he's been dumped, no?
Leanne does a "surprise" offer of buying Maggie out of the Rovers, which Mrs Doyle doesn't fall for. Has anyone done a risk assessment on two sisters running the pub?
Alice has given Roy her phone number but Roy takes umbrage at the idea that he might get jiggy with the new character. I presume this has been a drawn out process as they're trying to persuade Dame Judy Dench to join the show?
And Betsy tries to matchmake her mum and Carla back together. She wants that fabulous lesbian wedding as much as we do.

Well, we've had Ian McKellen and Joanna Lumley, haven't we? Not to mention Rula lenska and Stephanie Beecham and of course, dame Maureen lipman. I'm not sure whether dame Judy would consider it now, as she has serious sight problems.
She's had them for a while but it hasn't stopped her.
