JODIE REDRAFTS REALITY Shona asks Kit how he knows Jodie. Kit explains how he met her in the woods on the night of the crash, her wrists were bound, she appeared to be running away from someone and was clearly terrified. Shona’s shocked. Meanwhile Jodie goes to a domestic violence support group at the community centre. Jodie listens as a woman called Ellie describes the horrific abuse she suffered at the hands of her partner. Shona and David get a call from Bethany saying Jodie is in the house having a meltdown. What is going on? Shona listens as Jodie explains.
WILL WANTS MEGAN SO DUMP DANIEL Outside the school, Will implores Megan to dump Daniel as he finds it so hard seeing them together. Megan assures him that she’ll do what she can. Over dinner in the bistro, Daniel apologises to Megan for coming on too strong but tells her he can’t help the way he feels about her. When Daniel suggests she should report Will to Mrs Crawshaw for harassment, Megan quickly changes the subject.
CARLA GETS HER WOMAN At hungover Lisa watches as Carla makes breakfast and admits she remembers very little about the previous day.

Is there a ramp at the factory for Izzy? I noticed when Carla opened the door and rushed everyone in that Izzy was left at the bottom of the stairs. Does she go in a side/loading dock door? weird.
Cannot abide the Jodie storyline, it's getting more ridiculous. Is there no one who turns up on the street ever normal? Is everyone a villan? Sheesh
Well, they don't want emotionally well balanced people, do they? That'd be boring.
Not really - it's boring with everybody who turns up and two minutes later, they're a villain or hiding some wicked secret.
I've often wondered about Izzy's access to the faktri. The writers haven't even thought about it. Izzy rarely has a storyline. The actress does a lot of disability rights campaigning. I don't think she wants to spend any more time in Corrie.
It's a soap opera cliche, I agree! But strangers or long lost family usually are hiding secrets, because it brings drama and conflict. The Corrie team are in the entertainment business, after all.
I haven't been especially entertained lately with the program, it's had it's moments. Mostly I have to suspend disbelief in order to continue, and then there's the skip thru option. People can just be lousy people, but c'mon.....
