ELSEWHERE When Maggie and Eva bicker over Ben’s breakfast. Ben despairs. Eva and Maggie agree that for the sake of Ben’s health, they need to call a truce.

As Roy and Nina discuss Alice’s authenticity and the fact that she’s unlikely to be a catfisher, Roy receives a text from her.

Tyrone comes after him wielding his crutch - made my day, rolling on the floor laughing

Not that interested in Shona's sister...one crisis at a time. We really didn't need another at the Platt's, what with little Harper's issues. Would love to see Carl get his comeuppance, and for Theo to be haunted by the ghost of Billy.

How did Tyrone get in? How did he know Carl was alone? How do the scriptwriters get away with such lazy plotting?

Ridiculous. Lisa would have passed out after drinking more than a bottle of wine.
Megan told Will the baby is 8 weeks. How can it be his? They slept together for the first time on his birthday only 3-4 weeks ago. Also it's hilarious that he thinks collecting glasses in the Rover's will finance his life with Megan and the baby.

Yes, I agree. I don't think the baby is Will's or Daniel's, either. I bet it's another lad she was seeing at the same time as Will. I think she'll have a miscarriage and Eva and Lee- anne will be kind and sweet towards her.
They've got rid of Becky so they've brought another female baddie in - Jodie. It's a slow burner plot but at least this time they have a decent actress.
What does Jody do for a job? She must have worked somewhere.
I still don't know why they brought in a new Lily. We've already had a new Max and no doubt they'll be Max mark 3 when another actor is cast to play him further down the line.
We've 3 versions of Harry, Sarah's boy, who we hardly ever see.
It would have been good to see how Harry has reacted to Kit moving in with Sarah but I don't expect that's high priority for the Corrie team.
If it's not a planned plot line, then they won't bother!

It looks like the baby may not be either Will's or Daniel's. I don't know, just pure speculation on my part

Seemed as though the episode was slapped together without any thought...and what was the weird thing at the end with the music? It's not a movie for pete's sake. little Susie...isn't she precious?

What would the writers do if there was a ban on showing drunk people on tv?
They rely a lot on characters getting drunk as an excuse for all sorts of behaviour.

I was equally bemused by the musical ending the episode. I thought someone had edited in a scene from Hollyoaks. Don't do it again!

I was puzzled by the music as well. It seemed unnecessary and strange.

Do we really need yet another villain? Jodie is unscrupulous, stealing an abused woman's tragic tale.
Also, why is Lauren suddenly being so stroppy? She's a barmaid, but she resented Tracy asking for service the other day. There have been other instances. She is rude to Maggie who is her employer.

It's an affectation - they want to think they are being artistic and trying all different types of cinematic styles - what they don't realise is, it's a soap. People don't watch it for artistic camerawork and alternative styles of presentation.
