Adam had a brief pop career in the 90s and then moved to New Zealand for a role on soap Shortland Street there.
Adam played the first adult Nick Tilsley in the late 90s and again in 2002 - 2004 and don't you think the 38 year old is beginning to look startlingly like current Nick actor, Ben Price?

When TPTB found out Ben was leaving, im surprised they didn't see if Adam was willing to come back and take back his old role, thereby keeping Nick still. The two of them look so alike now!
They sure do, and Adam looks much closer to the age Nick is meant to be...
Funny how Adam now looks like Ben's younger self. Adam would be perfect to reprise his role as Nick. C'mon Kate , make it happen

Why is it surprising that they look alike since they were hired to play the same character?
I find it more odd when actors who played the same role look nothing alike or don't resemble their character's relatives.
Maricha - at the time the new Nick was cast...the two actors looked nothing alike. That is the point people are making here. They were like chalk and cheese and now they look like they came from the same gene pool.
