THE PRESSURE MOUNTS FOR BECKY Kit visits Costello in hospital and tells him that he located the flat, he knows it belongs to him, but there was nobody there. Costello gives nothing away. With Kit having gone, Becky emerges from the en suite and thanks Costello for covering for her. Lisa tells Becky that she’s prepared to move to Spain with her but not until she’s seen Carla as she deserves to hear the news from her. As Betsy and Lauren hang out at No.6, Becky decides it’s time to speed things up with horrifying consequences!
THEO PUSHES TODD TOO FAR Todd’s on edge when Billy and Summer drop by. Theo quizzes Billy about ‘the parishioner’ who is suffering domestic abuse. Billy’s evasive and suspects Theo knows he’s onto him. When they leave Theo rounds on Todd, seeing red. Horrified at what he’s done, Theo tries to blame Todd for causing him to lose his temper. When Theo’s phone rings, Todd seizes the opportunity and does a runner. But when he listens to a message from Theo telling him he can’t live without him, will Todd be swayed?
SALLY FIGHTS DEBBIE’S CORNER Sally shows Debbie into No.4 to reveal Glenda, Bernie and Christina ready for a pre-wedding pamper party. Debbie’s touched. When she confides in her friends how she wishes Kevin would bury the hatchet with Carl just for one day, Sally calls at the garage to talk to Kevin. Fired up, Kevin finds Carl and tells him he needs a word. ELSEWHERE As Shona puts away the Christmas decorations, she suffers a twinge and struggles to draw breath. David insists he’ll take her to get checked out.

It's supposed to be New year's day and Roy's cafe is open, as Sarah came out of the door, plus a postie was delivering mail. I don't think any posties would be out and about on New year's day. Where the heck is Carla? What's with the EDF vans? Have they begun sponsoring Corrie, instead of Argos?
I think Becky can teleport - that's the only explanation for her getting everywhere so quickly and back and before anybody else and nobody even noticing. Either that or poor script writing.
I liked the way Becky put on the balaclava in broad daylight like no one was going to recognise her in the same horrible green parka she always wears.
