Coronation Street spoiler: Will Adam’s future go up in flames?
Corrie’s Ken Barlow is literally blazing tonight (Wednesday 8 March) when he discovers what grandson Adam has been up to behind his back.
On Monday night viewers saw Ken and Adam almost come to blows over Adam using his car without permission, stealing money from Tracy and pocketing the rent money Ken had given him.
But tonight things really get heated when Ken discovers that Adam has got involved with a dodgy drug dealer after he finds the holdall full of cash in the flat Adam shares with Daniel.
Desperate Adam needs the cash to give back to Ronan who has found out about his fling with his girlfriend Trina.
However Ken has a different idea and the sparks really fly when Adam discovers his grandad plans to burn all the cash in the back yard of No. 1.
Can Adam stop Ken destroying the money or will Ken succeed, leaving his grandson a sitting duck for drug dealer Ronan and his gang?
Tune in to Coronation Street tonight at 7.30pm on ITV to find out.

Well, it seems the writers are going to make the most of that new police station.
Whatever would possess anyone to burn money? Keep it, give it to charity, but don't burn it.
So many better things to do with the money than start a bonfire:
- The drugs were stolen from Rosie and the Websters, good neighbors, are in a bind. Give it to Kevin.
- Set up trusts for Amy and Simon.
- Pay Dev in advance so Daniel can stay without Adam.
- Buy a truckload of books for the community center library
- Go to Italy
But a fire is much more dramatical. *sigh*
First thing I thought when I read that bit about burning it too, that there are so many better things that could have been done with the cash. What a short-sighted thing to do, but honestly it is the sort of thing I could see Ken doing.
So true, of all the characters on Corrie, only Ken would think this could solve anything.
Ken is getting on my last nerve.
They often say that teenagers and parents really start annoying each other because it makes it easier for the children to ultimately leave home when they grow up and for the parents to let them go. Maybe this is preparing us for Ken's inevitable departure from the show lol
