There's a good interview with Corrie newcomer Rob Mallard, who plays Daniel Osbourne in Coronation Street, in this week's Inside Soap magazine.
Rob answers questions that have been sent in by fans. He says he had three auditions for the part of Daniel and that he'd love to see Denise Black back on the show as Daniel's mum Denise (so would we!).
He reveals that the best bit of advice that's been given to him so far came from Bill Roache, who told him never to turn into a diva. Rob would to work more scenes with Norris and he shares a dressing room with Connor McIntyre (Pat Phelan), Peter Gunn (Brian), Richard Hawley (Johnny Connor).
He also says that in real life he's a bookworm too.

I wonder who became a diva on set? Hmm
I said a quick hello to him last week whilst I was in Weatherfield. He was smoking roll-ups on the bench outside the studio. Ken wouldn't approve...
I suspect Mr Roache has had enough of the likes of Ms Phoenix and Ms Goodyear in his career....
