Ian Puleston-Davies to star in real-life Hatton Garden
Ian Puleston-Davies, who played Owen Armstrong in Coronation Street, will be starring in a new TV series soon.
He's joined the cast of ITV's real life drama Hatton Garden which will also star Timothy Spall.
Hatton Garden is a four-part series depicting the notorious burglary which took the nation by surprise over the Easter bank holiday weekend in 2015 when an elderly gang of criminals stole £25 million worth of jewellery.
The events have also been made into a film, ‘The Hatton Garden Job’, featuring EastEnders Larry Lamb and Phil Daniels.
Speaking about Hatton Garden, Pope, head of ITV factual drama, said: “This is one of the most high profile crimes of the last decade and we wanted to understand what had happened – and why. The research threw up some fascinating detail and blew away many of the misconceptions about this story.”
Filming for Hatton Garden will begin later this month in London
