Coronation Street creator Tony Warren has been honoured with a star on Manchester's 20 'Walk of Fame'.
The Star Walk Manchester has been unveiled to mark the launch of a new bar - The Liquor Store - on First Street, off Whitworth Street West. The owners of the bar held a poll to find 20 Manchester icons - and this is what the vote turned up - in no particular order.

What a list! Shame about the liquor advertising emlazoned on the star, especially in particular for the late and great Thaw and Aherne given they both had their battles.
