Listen: Interview with Coronation Street writer Ella Greenhill

Ella Greenhill is one of the Coronation Street scriptwriters and you can read our profile of her here.

Ella was interviewed on the BBC Asian Network radio programme this week.  She talks about starting out wanting to be an actor but realised she enjoyed writing scenes, rather than acting in them.  Her dad is Indian and Ella talks about growing up with a mixed family background.

As well as writing for Coronation Street, Ella has written a play about living with autism. It's called Plastic Figurines and is currently on at the New Diorama Theatre in London.

You can listen to Ella's interview here.
Ella's interview starts around the 2hrs and 14mins mark.
