Who would YOU vote for, if you had to? Sally or Norris?
Watch Sally's campaign video here - it's wonderful.
I wonder if Norris will retaliate and make a campaign video of his own?

Definitely Sally because she has a wider experience of life and can therefore relate to a range of issues: housewife, mother, small business owner, employee. Sally D can do drama as well as comedy so it would be great if Sally M stumbled upon an issue that she felt passionate about.
Can't abide Norris so it would have to be Sally for me.
Norris would be just plain annoying - Sally, well at least we would have some comedic moments and blunders (she does do blunders very well) Please we get to see her Mrs Bucket snobbery come out in full force. Could be great fun.
I can't believe I'm going to say this but I'd vote for Norris. As much as he's annoying, I find Sally even more annoying, and at least Norris wouldn't flip flop on issues like Sally is doing. He'd stick to his principles, and I think that would have a lot of potential for a storyline too.
Although I don't see Norris getting elected though, they've invested the time to show us beginning to end for Sally, so I think she'll end up getting it.
Norris would usher in an era of vitriol and name calling in local politics, Weatherfield's answer to Trump.
First, thank you vintgal003, from the Sally video post, for the youtube link that works for all of us. It's so funny!
I'd vote silly Sally cause there's too much potential for comedy there which I wouldn't want to miss. I'd love to see Norris have some role at the Council too. It might force him to not be such a downer all the time if he gets out into the wider community. Well, I can dream.
I live in New Hampshire and thought I was on a well deserved break from silly politics. Oh well, I'd vote for Norris because he is a small business owner who understands those concerns, and because he needs something constructive in his life. And, given a chance, he can be very kind. Getting out of the Kabin and the Rovers might be that chance.
I'd vote for Norris, because at least he is rational. Sally is more like Trump, saying anything at all to anybody at all. She has no central set of values, but drifts in the wind, saying what she thinks people will want to hear. At least you would know what you are getting with Norris. Of course, in real life, I would probably vote for one of the other people running for council, as both Norris and Sally have serious shortcomings.
I would love for this page to remain a political free zone. A reference to Trump on a British TV show site? Ugh....just stop. It's not clever.
Sorry Zagg, you may not find it clever, but it is something that Corrie's US viewers have to put up with 24/7 - you honestly can't deprive us of venting just a little when it comes to politics - we wouldn't begrudge UK viewers the chance to let off steam re: UK politicians. It's a big international world right now and we are all in this together.
Could someone please post a link to this video which can be viewed from Canada? I have tried youtube and can't find it. Thanks!
I'd vote "None of the above" - surely there can't only be the two of them running?
Sally in office would be a bigger joke than she currently is as an underwear stitcher pining and brown-nosing for a seat in the crowded boss's office. Norris is running for purely selfish reasons but he's a lot smarter about the political process than her. I would choose neither but certainly Norris would be the more competent of the two.
I don't think Norris would give two tosses for what his constituents want. He'd be telling *them* what they want or what he wants them to want. Sally might be all over the place, trying to be all things to all people, but I think she'd try harder even if she's mainly in it for the glory!
