Kym Marsh, who plays Michelle Connor on Coronation Street, has been interviewed on Ireland's The Late Late Show.
She talked about making the move from being in Hear'Say, the pop group to being an actress in our favourite show, and how difficult it was for people to take her seriously as an actor.
She says: "So it was kind of hard for me. But they took a chance on me and I'm so
glad they did because it gave me the opportunity to show what I can do.
And you're not in a show for ten years if you're no good."
There's a good laugh when she says how much she likes working with Bill Roache (Ken Barlow). She jokes that when she films with Bill, she says to him 'Ooh maybe they'll put Ken and Michelle together!" Asked if she'd like that, she quickly said "No!"
She also talked about kissing Keith Duffy (Ciaran McCarthy) on-screen after she fancied him when he was in his boy band.
It's a good interview and Michelle comes over very well. She looks lovely too.
