ANNA’S PHELAN FREE As Jason and Phelan prepare to start work on the new contract, Izzy and Anna approach the builder’s yard and are horrified to see Phelan loading the van. Enjoying her obvious distress, Phelan explains that Jason’s given him some work so he’ll be sticking around. Anna vows to have it out with Phelan once and for all and before Gary or Izzy can stop her, she storms back to the yard and sets about smashing up Phelan’s van. When Phelan arrives back, Anna launches herself at him, her hatred evident. Kevin rounds the corner and is stunned to see Anna attacking Phelan.
CARLA PROPOSITIONS NICK Having mulled over Tracy’s ultimatum, Carla confides in Michelle that this could be an opportunity to move on and start again. Carla sews the seed in Nick’s mind that it would be good to move away and start afresh. Taken aback will Nick agree to give it some thought?
SALLY’S GOT A SURPRISE FOR TIM Sally’s furious with Norris for telling the Gazette she’s opposed to the new supermarket as she’s married to a window cleaner and therefore supports small businesses. After tearing a strip off Norris for speaking to the Gazette without consulting her, Sally calls Tim, Liz and Norris to the cab office where she makes a shock announcement!
ELSEWHERE Johnny’s delighted as he shows Sinead the photos from the shoot. Sinead can hardly believe it’s her. Alya meets up with her old uni friend Rana in the bistro, it’s clear Zeedan fancies her.
Friday 19th February
ANNA PAYS THE PRICE FOR HER ANGER As Anna continues her frenzied attack on Phelan, Gary and Jason pull her away. Appalled by Anna’s behaviour, Kevin orders Gary to take her home. Jason leads Phelan back to No.11 where Eileen fusses round him tending to his wounds. When Eileen insists Phelan stays for dinner, Michael’s put out. Gary and Izzy implore Anna to get a grip as to anyone who doesn’t know the truth, she appears unhinged. Calling at No.13 Anna apologises to Kevin for her latest outburst. Will Kevin accept her apology or has Anna gone too far this time?
NICK TAKES A LEAP OF FAITH Having reached a decision, Nick tells Carla she’s right, they should sell their businesses and start a new life wherever the mood takes them. Carla’s thrilled. When Carla confirms to Tracy that she and Nick will be moving far away, Tracy tells her she’s got a week to get Nick to sell the bistro to Robert.
SALLY LOSES NORRIS AND TIM’S VOTE As Sally’s news sinks in, Tim’s gutted, pointing out he loves his window cleaning round and doesn’t want to be cooped up in the cab office. Sally’s put out and when Norris highlights her lack of clear policies, she sacks him on the spot. Norris is furious. Clearly hurt, Norris off-loads to Rita. Having found Tim sulking in the Rovers, Sally assures him the reason she’s bought him half the Street Cars business is because she realises his potential and believes in him. Will Tim soften? Smiling tightly, Norris approaches Sally and drops a bombshell of his own!
ELSEWHERE Rana entertains Alya with stories of her travels and flirts with Zeedan who’s clearly smitten. In the Rovers, Liz admires Sinead’s modelling photos and Chesney listens in alarm as Sean enthuses about all the other modelling work Sinead has lined up. Can Chesney bury his jealousy?

How do you d Sally manage to buy Tim half the cab office With Steve and Lloyd both unavailable ? Plus she only seemed to have the idea a few days ago surely it would take longer than that ? Same goes for Tracy giving Carla a week to get Nick to sell to Robert ? These things take time and discussion. Mmm well I'll be watching tonight but hoping we viewers are not shortchanged. ( possible joke there 'shortchanged' ? )
Real estate transactions always happen in hours on Corrie.
Suspension of disbelief dears, suspension of disbelief.
Not looking forward to Eileen simpering around Phelan, she's such a fool and such a terrible judge of character. Cannot stand the woman.
I was also surprised that Sally could buy Streetcars that quickly - I guess the reason that Liz was included so that she could act as proxy for Steve's share of the business or maybe Lloyd's. I was also surprised that no one has mentioned ownership of the Bistro - I'm sure when Nick & Leanne split up, after much back & forth, he finally signed over a portion of the business in the divorce papers to Leanne, who was fundamental in getting it started. She kept claiming that she had to think about Simon. Does anybody else remember that whole fiasco about "Just Nick's", then back to Nick's Bistro???
Hmmmm, since Carla is already brain dead (end of life, this week's Monday and Wednesday episodes), she's now free to clobber and finally kill off Tracey! And then go to jail an write notes to Rob. Fade to black on one great character and the other Joke-that-is-tracey.
Would the police possibly come and take Anna away for years as she is going to vandalize private property and physically attack a person? Please oh, please do so. Liked Anna when she first appeared on the street but she has got to go now.
I like Eileen and I wish they would give her a proper storyline and a good love interest. Why couldn't she buy into Street Cars? It would make more sense. I also like Phelan and am glad he's back. Maybe he can somehow get rich again and buy the cab firm for Eileen!
And I'm liking Jenny back on the block; I liked her with Kevin, so rid the street of Anna and get Jenny back with Kevin.
Jenny and Sinead can run the health shop that I hope Sinead opens with her modelling funds. ( and this just because)
So a flower shop; bistro; Roy's deli; community centre; pub; corner shop; garage; medical centre; factory; taxi office; hair salon; gym; did I miss anything?? A health store with organic items should be next thing to open.
What other stores should there be on the street?
Message for the new producer: If you value your viewers AT ALL, you'll get rid of Tracy Barlow permanently. I say go out with a bang: gas leak, explosion and huge fireball at the Bistro, rendering her acquisition of it a Pyrrhic victory for her, and a satisfying end for us.
Tracy v Catla and Bistro ownership. Yawn.
Anna and Phelan stuff dragged on too long the first time.
Sally buying part of Streetcars? Beyond belief.
That comment made a while ago when Kate was talking to Caz about Sophie being her 'rock', I have no recollection of Sophie and Caz being best friends. Wasn't Sophie just mad at Kate for taking Jenny's side? Where is Jenny by the way? Oh and when Simon went to see Peter the last time I thought it was in the Caribbean somewhere now all of a sudden he's gone back to Portsmouth. So many trail ends of plots these days.
Oops I mean Sophie and Kate being friends. I'm so confused I know not what I type :P
I actually quite enjoy Tracy!!
But I've had quite enough of Anna for a while. The actress is usually good, but I admit that I cringed for her during her meltdown/smash up scene. I don't understand why the director didn't help her modulate that performance. It was awful.
