Join Daniel Brocklebank at LGBTQ Discussion
Daniel Brocklebank, who plays Billy the vicar Mayhew in Coronation Street, will be on the panel at a discussion about LGBTQ representation in continuing drama.
Actors and programme makers from the BBC, Emmerdale, Coronation Street and Hollyoaks will be on the panel to analyse storylines, issues raised and tackled and determine whether their fiction has been a help or a hindrance in reality.
Presenter June Sarpong will host a panel including Coronation Street's Daniel Brocklebank, who plays Billy Mayhew in the soap, Hollyoaks' Kieron Richardson (Ste Hay) and Annie Wallace (Sally St. Claire). They will be joined by Emmerdale series producer Iain MacLeod and Oliver Kent, Head of Continuing Drama at BBC Studios.
The event takes place on Wednesday, 12 July, 2017 at 6.30pm at The Hospital Club in London.
The event is held partnership with ITV and Pride in the City.
