Join Corrie Writer Jonathan Harvey at Smithdown Litfest
Join Coronation Street scriptwriter, novelist and playwright Jonathan Harvey as he is interviewed by Pauline Hadaway about his career.
This free event opens this year's Smithdown Litfest in south Liverpool.
When: Friday 29th September, 2017 – 7.30pm to 9.00pm
Where: Ullet Road Unitarian Church, L17
Tickets to this event are free, but you must book in advance and bring your free ticket with you on the night. Book your place now.
Jonathan Harvey comes from Liverpool and is the multi-award-winning writer of the play and film Beautiful Thing, the BAFTA-nominated sitcom Gimme Gimme Gimme, and Beautiful People (Best Comedy: Banff TV Festival). He is currently on the writing teams for both Coronation Street and The Tracey Ullman Show. His other TV work includes Rev (Best Sitcom: BAFTA), At Home With The Braithwaites, Lilies, The Catherine Tate Show and Murder Most Horrid. He has written twenty stage plays.
Jonathan has written five novels. His most recent, The History of Us, is about three friends who grow up in Alderson Road in Wavertree.
