For a bit of fun this week in the run up to the Bank Holiday weekend, we're going to be asking every day this week who our current favourite characters are. Today it's the turn of the couples.
So, who is your current, favourite Coronation Street couple?
For this fan, it's Sally and Tim for the comedy and lightheartedness they provide. Sally's interaction with her sister is sublime and Tim and Steve at the cab office are a delight to watch too. So not only is my favourite couple great fun to watch together on screen but separately on the Street too.
But never mind me. If YOU had to choose just one couple from the show at the moment, as your absolute favourite, who would it be?

Billy & Todd as well. I didn't for a long time but parenting Summer has brought something out in their pairing. I like Sally and I like Tim, but we don't see them together as Sally & Tim as often as we see them with others. Kinda slim pickings at the moment. I wonder if Angie and Jude are going to stick around - he's pretty and she's got some serious smarts.

I'm sorry, but could you explain what "serious smarts" are? Not a phrase this Mancunian has ever heard of.
Sally and Tim for me, too.
Only that in the few scenes she was in, her facial expressions seemed to show that she was seeing something was off in Mary and Norris' relationship. No one else has, and she barely knows them.
Serious smarts means someone is very smart, duh!
Also could be taken as being a perceptive person.

Mary and Norris are really clicking together very nicely--the current scenario is a neat re-write of the Moors/Wuthering Heights debacle of a few years ago. Those two really work well together and are pretty hilarious when they get a well-written story line.
I liked Angie and Jude too (as a mew couple). She already seems like a junior battleaxe--the way she's been prying into Norris and Mary's relationship and bossing Jude around--and she is working well with Mary--loved the scene in the spa. And Jude's such a good-natured, open, smiling sweetie pie--though I suspect he won't stay that way very long if he moves to the street lol. It's all a vale of tears!
My current favorite Corrie couple has to be Sarah and Gary. They just have such amazing chemistry.
I like Steve and Leanne together and I hope they get back permanently. Sally and Tim are OK too. Definitely NOT Mary and Norris - worst pairing EVER! Stupid stupid storyline.
