We have an opportunity for an Assistant Dubbing Editor to support all areas of Post Production, including the ability to work as Dubbing Editor when required.
Reporting to our Post Production Manager you will assist within both the video and audio areas as well as scheduling of the dubbing team. You will deal directly and closely with the Production, Editorial and Post Production teams to accurately interpret the creative and technical brief and assist in technical matters as required.
We require a strong understanding of working within a multi user Avid and ProTools environment, have a comprehensive knowledge of post production workflows, audio dubbing and colour grading systems. We will also look to you to provide your Dubbing Editor skills to the programme whilst adhering to tight schedules.
You will have experience with Production Asset Management (PAM) systems and media management including; Backup, Archive & Deletions is required as well as a general understanding of both the technical and craft aspect of the Post Production department.
You will also be familiar with a wide range of transcoding and file compression workflows. An understanding of film & video technology and terminology and advanced IT skills involving PC, Mac would be advantageous.
The successful candidates will have a wealth of experience, great people skills, a keen eye for detail. Due to the nature of the role absolute confidentiality is required. This is a role that will require excellent communication skills and a very flexible approach to work and working hours (including some evenings & weekends) this is not a 9-5 job.
