News this week that Abba are releasing new songs later this year prompted me to take a look back in the history cupboard. Remember the Millennium party on Coronation Street? Hayley Cropper, Linda Baldwin, Deirdre Barlow and Janice Battersby dressed up as Abba tribute band Fabba and performed Waterloo. You can watch it via YouTube here.
And now it's set me off thinking which Abba songs might have their perfect fit with the residents of Weatherfield! So, here we go:
I do, I do, I do, I do
Voulez-Vous
Thank you for the music
Dancing queen
Money, Money, Money
S. O. S.
Winner Takes It All
Can you think of any more we can add?
