Coronation Street fan recreates Rovers Return in his shed

Coronation Street fan Conor Wilson got in touch with me to say that he has been a massive Coronation Street fan all of his life.

And he's recreated the Rovers Return - in his shed - with a very special picture on the wall of the bar, too.

Conor says: "I love the show and always have. I got married in August 2017 and my table plan was all Coronation Street families. My wife was very accommodating, even allowing us to walk in to the reception to the Corrie theme song.

One of my ambitions after we got married and got our own house was to have my own bar in our back yard, a place for friends and family to relax when visiting. My biggest supporter of this idea was my Granny. She even gave me money to make it happen.

Unfortunately she passed away quite suddenly just after the pub was constructed, and never got to visit it. I knew then I would be putting up a picture of her in true Betty style for all to see and make her a part of something she truly encouraged.

I called the pub “The Rovers Return” and now have a place for everyone to have a drink!".
