Art Department Assistant - Coronation Street (Freelance Talent Pool)
As we prepare to transition to 6 episodes a week, Coronation Street are looking to expand their Talent Pool of Freelance Art Department Assistants.
As one of our Art Department Assistants, you will be required to assist across all areas of the Design team. From Prop making, prop buying, creating graphics, researching, assisting with set dressing and being responsible for maintaining and monitoring the department's material supplies, the role is varied and never dull!
A successful applicant will have ideally have previous experience as an Art Department Assistant/Art Department Runner. A degree/relevant qualification in Art & Design is essential.
You will need to be able to draw freehand and technical drawing skills are also advantageous. Basic Knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator is a must, and any skills in Google Sketch Up or Vectorworks would also be useful. You will have excellent organisational skills and a fine eye for detail.
