It's almost the end of yet another year on the cobbles. And so, without any further ado, here we go with a round-up of events from Coronation Street month by month - in 100 words or less.

May 2016

Carla and Nick's wedding goes nuts and Carla leaves, Callum's body is found when Gail's grannexe is smashed into by a truck, Caz and Kate and Sophie don't get along, Sarah goes into post-natal meltdown, Jason's left a fortune in Tony's will and sleeps with Gemma, Roy returns from Hastings, Caitlin dumps Craig, Jenny saves Jack from being crushed by Blackpool tram, Tyrone gets his cab license, Izzy's arrested for cannabis possession.


Quotes of the month:  
When Nick heads back into the Bistro to marry Carla and Tracy arrives with what she thinks is bombshell news about Carla sleeping with Robert. Nick already knows and tells Tracy: “Sorry to rain on your grenade.”
