Coronation Street review: February 2016

It's almost the end of yet another year on the cobbles. And so, without any further ado, here we go with a round-up of events from Coronation Street month by month - in 100 words or less.

February 2016

Tyrone and Fiz struggle to pay off his loan, Sally ropes in Ken as campaign manager, Jenny Bradley raises eyebrows, Eva and Aidan schmooze the O'Driscolls while slave girl Marta hides at Underworld, Brendan breaks Mary's heart, Phelan sabotages Kev's garage electrics and threatens Anna, trouble Simon breaks bones at football, Beth comes out in a rash at Audrey's salon, Tracy blackmails Carla over Robert, Sally buys Lloyd's share of Streetcars and puts Tim to work, Rana arrives, Sinead models at Underworld, Izzy buys drugs for pain control.

Quotes of the month:

“In the scarlet letter book I am a H” Mary says.
Erica replies wonderfully with “But Whore is spelt with a W!”
“I meant Harlot!” huffs Mary.

“This is exactly the kick up the tush that I needed to get out of this place,” Carla tells Tracy.
"Oh! So that's what's happened is it? I've done you a favour?" smirks Tracy before going in for the kill. "No. I'll tell you what's happened, shall I? You've become my bitch, babe. Always knew you had it in you".
