Chris Gascoyne, who plays Coronation Street's Peter Barlow, was in the audience of industry professionals (that's loveys to you and me!) for a special performance of Coronation Street 1977 - Live! at the Lass o'Gowrie pub in Manchester last night.
Chris was there with other members of the Corrie cast and crew to watch two episodes of Coronation Street, one of them written by John Stevenson and the other by H V Kershaw. We saw the plays last weekend and they are fantastic but they're all finished now and won't run until the Lass o'Gowrie's Lassfest next year.

Lassfest continues throughout January with more iconic plays being acted out in the pub - get full details here.

It has actually made my day, being described as an "industry professional"! Unfortunately I'm not, but it was a brilliant evening nonetheless!
Here I am, in prime position trying my best not to stand on Annie Walker's monogrammed carpet!
