Why hasn't Jenna threatened to report Kevin for sexual assault, granted it was only a pass but it was unwanted so it should be classed as a sexual assault shouldn't it?
Where does Simon figure in Leanne's threat to leave (which we know she won't)? In the past she has ran away for a bit (while Jane Danson had a baby), but now there is Simon. I can't see Peter allowing them to disappear and she was adamant Peter could not be trusted with Simon.
That kid annoys me!
HERE WE GO AGAIN - The Iam Leaving Weatherfield mantra - when we all know she wont be - Leanne- do us all a favour and DO ONE! Its a sad old world when a man who tries to kiss a woman in a pub on New Years Eve has to be tried for sexual assault! Ye gods what have we come to!
Leanne does this practically every year but just when writers give us all hope that she will leave, they take it away. Shame she wouldn't do us all a favour and get going for real.
Simon is very rude and is not very pleasant child at all since he's been living with her.
Oh enough of Nick & Leanne already, please!! The overexposure is really turning me off. Would like to see some stuff from less-used characters.
Kevin - it's his word against the two girls - his complaint will be toast after they find out he tried to physically kiss Jenna against her express wishes, and his advances spurned - and that would now indicate to the authorities that he is seeking revenge. It is he who could find himnself facing legal charges to answer.
How is it possible to ruin five characters in one fell swoop. Peter, Carla, Leanne, Nick, Simon? I really missed Peter but couldn't care less what happens now.
If the new Peter sounds familiar...he's just adopted Tracy Barlow's persona...rude, vile, smarmy and vindictive. Surely the new producer will be dropping a few characters because the writers don't seem to be able to come up with anything new.
