To beard or not to beard? That is the question.
Should Steve McDoanld shave his Coronation Street beard off - or is there
anyone out there who likes it and thinks it should stay?
If you remember, Kevin Webster went through the same face fungus a few months ago but it didn't last long, thankfully.
To shave or not to shave? That's another question.

I couldn't care less if Steve shaves or not, but I wish to God he's stop the constant gurning that has ruined his character. He seems more interested in contorting his face than delivering his lines these days.
I like it, especially with the flecks of grey. Makes him look all mature!-NN
He should def keep it. Couldn't believe how good he looked with it yesterday and I don't like beards usually. Makes him look sophisticated, plus it hides the gurns.

I too don’t care one way or the other about a shave. What was he doing giving the oaf Karl his job back when he was sacked for moonlighting in the Streetcars cabs? One word from Stella of course is enough to get this cheat reinstated.
Never mind the face, I think shaving the head would be a major improvement.
keep the beard and get rid of him
looks awful!!!
Looks like he needs to a good wash.
I too thought he looked great in yesterday's episode....as long as he doesn't grow it any more than that. How does St. Ella have such a hold over him that she could convince him to hire Karl back..?
Was he growing this for Movember?
I like facial hair on a man but this is a disaster...
Agree with Hobo Malone. Steve looks slovenly, and needs to tidy himself up. As for the beard, trim it to an outline around the chin(close) and a thin mustache on the upper lip. Cut out the chips and puddings.
He was growing it for Movember at the time of filming. It should be gone in a few weeks.
He looks like a bum.
