Helen Flanagan says she'd love to return to Coronation Street

Helen Flanagan, who played Rosie Webster on Coronation Street, was interviewed on ITV's Loose Women today.

She revealed that she would love to return to the show.  If you remember, Helen left the show in 2012 after suffering panic attacks and anxiety on set.  She gave a nice interview to the Manchester Evening News when she left - read it here.

Helen is now mum of Matilda and was pictured behind the scenes at Loose Women with her little girl today.

There could be a place for Rosie on the cobbles of course, as Sophie is leaving the show on a break as she takes to the stage with Ruth Madoc - read more on that here.

Would you welcome the return of Rosie Webster?

We have Eva for that little slice of daft now. Rosie could visit for a few days of course but not back permanently.

The street is positively littered with foolish young women, and some not so young, who should know better, but don't. We don't need the return of another one.
For some unknown reason I keep thinking of words that begin with "s", like slattern, sleazy, slut, or "t", like tart, tramp, trollop.

No, we clearly have enough ditzy girls right now, thanks. However, she did spend a lot of time away in London, working in a tough field. She could have changed a bit. David needs a friend right now, and he and Rosie have history, so there's one use for her. Don't see her sewing, pulling pints or running a garage, tho, so not sure where she'd work. A hostess on a tv show filmed in Manchester?

I'd love to see her come back!

To be fair, the writers weren't very kind to Helen, she was very good during the ' John Stape kidnap ' story, so we know she can act.
I wouldn't mind if she came back... Older, wiser, maybe a little more sensible after coping on her own in that London.

Needs the money I imagine.
Unless they transform her as Ancient Corrier suggests, I don't want her back either. They made her so vacuous she almost vanished up herself!

Perhaps she comes back emotionally scarred like Todd. Perhaps she has been used and abused by men and returns like a contemporary Bet Lynch, a camp self-parody with an iron wit.

No, just no.

I haven't missed Rosie and therefore don't see the need for her return to fill in during Sophie's absence.
There are too many characters on the Street now who are underused and bringing Rosie in would seem more justifying another storyline for the Websters who like the Barlows,Connors and Platts get a lion's share of the storylines already.

Ok..this girl was paraded around constantly in next to nothing the minute she hit puberty, and her lines were completely moronic. I doubt this story is true anyway.

In her defence, she said in the interview that she'd love to return for a few episodes and she couldn't see herself committing to anything long term due to being a new mum. She seemed a lot calmer and more centred than I've seen her before.

She's a Webster. We were there when she was born. We watched her grow up. She should be here.

I wouldn't mind seeing her for a few episodes, I think it would be fun. Rosie is probably every bit as snobby as Sally is now that she's been a model and reality show star.

Please no. She can act - but just not in every episode. Surely there's a burger bar with work for her.

I found her to be funny when she was the street bimbo. Some of the newer replacements have also been weak in acting skills also but annoyingly so.
