The wonderful Inside Soap Yearbook 2019 is now out in the shops. There's a great review of the year in all of the soaps and some interviews with soap favourites too.
In an interview with Jack P Shepherd, who plays David Platt in Coronation Street, he says that he'd love David to have an affair with Leanne.
He says: "Me and Julia (Goulding, who plays Shona) have come up with an idea with David is having an affair with Leanne and Shona is secretly sleeping with Ali the doctor. Then David - who can't confide in Billy, because he's Shona's pal - goes to Ali to get antidepressants and pours his heart out but he doesn't realise that Ali is sleeping with Shona. And Ali can't tell her because he's a doctor and it's confidential!"
Sounds like a plot just waiting to happen.
