Coronation Street Spoiler: Farewell to Fiz

The previews are in for next week’s Coronation Street and Fiz leaves the Street.

Tyrone takes Hope for a walk with Evelyn’s dog Cerebus but becomes distracted and realises that Hope and the dog have disappeared.

Hope reappears and announces she’s put Cerberus on a tram to Rochdale and as Tyrone and Fiz break the news to Evelyn, Hope asserts she’s not even sorry.

Evelyn lashes out at Fiz and Hope and with tensions bubbling, Fiz announces she will move to Birmingham with Hope and there’s an emotional farewell.

I think this is rather silly.
Fizz wouldn't walk out on Tyrone because of his interfering gran.
I realise that the Corrie team need a reason for Fizz to disappear for a bit, as the actress who plays her was pregnant - but this exit is not convincing.
You can clearly see she is expecting.
It was the same situation with the actress who played Kylie, David Platt's wife. They killed the character off, simply because the actress became pregnant again sooner than anticipated.
The Corrie team also had a weak plot line exit for Fizz this time last year, when she was in that jungle show.
I don't think any mum would be without her children at Christmas. Fizz was supposed to be looking after Cilla.
Why didn't Tryone and the kids go with her? Why didn't Chesney go with Fizz - and take Joseph as well?

You’re absolutely right Sharon. The storyline is quite weak. However I’ll be glad of the respite from Fiz’s shrieking.
