6. Corrie Live: Kylie Kills Callum (2015)

Jack P Shepherd, Paula Lane, Tina O'Brien and Sean Ward took centre stage of the live episode (so it was always going to be a winner) as Kylie's evil ex, Callum, continued to torment the family. Alone in the house with Sarah, it wasn't long before he lost his temper in a spectacular fashion and proceeded to throw her around the room like a rag doll (impressive at any time, but more so given that it was live). Just as you think Sarah can't get out of this alive, Callum got a whack from behind and dropped dead, as Kylie stood over the scene with a wrench in her hand (again respect to Sean Ward for coming back just to die less than half way through the episode).

What followed was a desperate attempt by David, Kylie and Sarah to hide the body and pretend it never happened, which they did fairly successfully for the best part of a year until Tyrone managed to crash into their house and uncover the grave under the floor of the granny annexe. Amazingly though, they really do seem to have got away with it, blaming the late Tony Stewart who had been doing building work there at the time.

This seems to be the accepted version of events, Kylie is now dead as well, David never talks about it (he's had other things going on), and Sarah mentioned it in passing to Gary who was preoccupied with trying to kill Phelan at the time. Of course Callum did have one more surprise from beyond the grave, Sarah then found out she was pregnant, and considering she'd been thrown around and half killed during what must have been the early stages, and was then sort of hit by a car a few weeks later, it's amazing that little Harry arrived in one piece!
