The previews are in for next week’s Coronation Street and Ali’s behaviour makes Ryan suspicious.
After another sleepless night Ali resorts to extreme measures and cons Moira into letting him into the surgery to collect something. He gets some anti-depressants before heading to the bistro where he gets drunk and flirts with Bethany.
Robert and Michelle arrive back to Ali and Ryan at each other’s throats. Michelle finds Ali in a state, he tells her to leave him alone and stumbles out. He picks a fight with two burly bikers outside the tattoo parlour and they give him a good kicking in the alleyway.
Ryan comes to Ali’s aid and scares them off and takes Ali home. Michelle is horrified at his injuries.

Ryan and Ali are both nearly 27, but Bethany is only 18. Why does nobody seem to be questioning this age difference?
Is there anything that Michelle isn't "horrified" by?
I wish all the Connors would do one....so fed up with the lot of them.
Charles,I wondered about the age difference between Ryan and Bethany.
I'm disappointed [but not surprised] that her mother Sarah isn't questioning the relationship due to what Bethany went through and the fact that Ryan recently tried to blackmail Sarah.
I am disappointed that Craig has been cast aside in favour of Ryan as I'm also fed up with the Connors and think the pairing of Bethany and Ryan is a ploy to justify more Michelle and Platt scenes even though they have been featured too much already.
