Coronation Street Spoiler: Four baby bombshells for Gemma

The previews are in from ITV for next week’s Corrie and pregnant Gemma gets the news that she’s expecting not one, not two, not even three – but four babies!

When Gemma’s morning sickness becomes so bad she collapses, Chesney decides to take her to hospital. As they are told she is going to have a scan Gemma reminds Chesney she has a family history of twins. But it’s more than double trouble for Chemma -when they find out they’re having quads.

As Gemma and Chesney let the news sink in they are given lots of information on multiple births including selective termination. But will they go ahead?

Absolutely ridiculous! Must rate as one of the worst storylines in Corrie's history!

I totally agree. I really can't see how they can keep this going, something's gotta give, and it'll end in tears

I checked the stats for quads naturally and it only happens 1 in 500,000 pregnancies. How stupid is this story line. Just shaking my head

Sadly, it's no more stupid than most of the storylines lately.

By my reckoning, Baby Bertie is the only child on Corrie living with both biological parents. Well, that represents the outside world......

Without a doubt the most ridiculous storyline. Bad enough Ches deliberately produced a child while he was still one himself. Now this idiocy? What message is this sending? Since this is supposed to be an "issue driven" soap, now.

Gemma's such a crass chav, she'll probably try to sell the "extra" babies! C'mon Corrie, this story could still get worse!

I think it’s going to be comic relief.

If only we had a magic wand to make Iain MacLeod disappear. His puerile vision of comedy is corroding the show.

The male writers seem to be obsessed with pregnancy.

I've watched Coronation street for 30 years don't think I can take it for much longer. This new story line with Gemma is the final straw. She plays an awful role, I can't watch her when she eats as it makes me feel sick, when she talks it also makes me feel sick. I fast forward most of the scenes she's in. Her brother is just as bad, get rid of them both.
This new story with the four babies is not funny, she can't even look after her self let alone four babies that might need special help.
Stupid stupid stupid.
