And now, it's been revealed who will play Ryan Connor. He's Michelle's son that she brought up as her own, but he's not her biological son, that's Alex (Ali) the doctor.
The actor who'll play the new Ryan Connor is Ryan Prescott, who is no stranger to soaps. He played Flynn Buchanan in Emmerdale. And if you'd like to find out more about him, he's here.
On Instagram Ryan confirmed that he will be on screen on May 25 and says that he's going to make a dramatic entrance.
He said: "From one Ryan to another... Ryan Connor is heading back to the cobbles after 5 years. Arriving in a bit of a state, there's no other entrance in his repertoire. Keep an eye open for him - 25th May."
