DAVID IS MADE TO PAY WHILE JOSH WALKS FREE Gail’s worried sick as David still hasn’t returned. In the Urban Garden, he continues to open up about his rape ordeal. Shona suggests that if he won’t go to the police, David should see a counsellor. But David’s adamant that no one can know as he couldn’t cope with the shame. As they return to the Platts hand in hand, Gail’s relieved. However the police arrest David for failing to appear at court. As he’s bundled into the police car, the fear on his face is evident. Will Shona maintain her silence? Shona confronts Josh, telling him she knows he’s a rapist.
JENNY’S LEFT OUT IN THE COLD After a sleepless night, Johnny’s convinced that something must have happened to cause Aidan to take his own life. When Kate labels Aidan’s actions as selfish, Johnny snaps at her for speaking ill of her dead brother. Kate’s anger dissolves. Johnny’s distraught, blaming himself for failing to see what Aidan must have been going through. Jenny feels useless.
EVA MAKES HER RETURN Making out she’s back from America, Eva arrives at the Rovers. Emotional she cuddles baby Susie and tells Toyah that she can definitely see a likeness to Aidan.
ELSEWHERE In an attempt to bury thoughts of Aidan’s death, Adam gets drunk in the bistro and
chats up a young woman called Niamh.
Friday 11th May
SHONA TRIES TO FIGHT DAVID’S BATTLE Keeping up his facade Josh tells Shona that David’s lying and they enjoyed consensual sex. Bubbling with fury, Shona tells Josh that he’s the liar and she’ll make sure he goes down for rape. Has Josh been rumbled? Keen to build a defence, Josh calls at Alya’s with flowers, she kisses him passionately and leads him to the bedroom. Shona tells a shocked Emma that she needs to book in for an STI test and she’d be best to forget about David.
EVA AND TOYAH FACE THEIR GUILT Ken calls at the Rovers to meet his new granddaughter, touched they’ve called her Susie. Johnny quizzes Toyah and Eva about Aidan’s movements on the evening of his death. Eva’s awash with guilt.
JENNY STRUGGLES TO HELP JOHNNY Carla tells the girls she wants the factory back up and running out of respect for all Aidan’s hard work. Johnny continues to beat himself up wishing he’d done more to help his son. Jenny does her best to comfort him but Johnny snaps at her leaving her upset.
ELSEWHERE Adam takes Niamh back to the flat for an afternoon of sex but his plan is thwarted
when Flora emerges. Adam’s unimpressed as Daniel explains Flora will be staying with them until the council find her a better care home. Billy’s concerned as Summer refuses to discuss Aidan’s death.

Wonderful past few episodes with fab acting all 'round. I cried...Johnny, Eva..sniff sniff
Thought that Kate wasn't very good but..meh.
Looking forward to what's to come for little Susie and her mom..Will everyone find out that Aiden had a daughter.
