Coronation Street Spoiler: David attacks Josh
The previews are in for next week’s Coronation Street and Shona backs Josh into a corner. Josh is quietly worried when his old training partner Claire tells him that Shona called in the gym asking questions about his past. Meanwhile Shona dupes Josh’s old work colleague, Dec, into meeting up. When she pushes him for answers, Shona is horrified to realise that Josh raped Dec too. Refusing to discuss it further, Dec hurries away.
Later, David is sentenced to 18 months in prison (suspended for 2 years) for his attack on Gary. He asks Shona to move back in but Josh drips poison in Max’s ear, telling him that David doesn’t love him as much as Lily because he’s not his real dad. When Max tells David what he said an incensed David storms into the cafe and grabs Josh, telling him to stay away from Max.
Alya demands to know what’s going on. Josh makes out it was an unprovoked attack but Alya’s suspicious.

eeewwww, I wish they would hurry up and write Josh out, he fair gives me the creeps and makes my skin crawl. And if he gets away with what he's done, why did they bother doing the storyline anyway? It wouldn't give much hope to male rape victims.
So they will him a closure when he is arrested. My lesson from this: Always confide/tell someone when you have been sexually assualt, even if you are a man. Otherwise, your problem would get worse. And that whoever did it to you will do it again, and again...
And now Josh can run right to the police and say something like David "threatened his life" because he testified against him, which of course they'll believe immediately. At this point they might as well have a car permanently stationed outside the Platt house for all the times they're called there to arrest someone.
In light of the fact that both Toyah[many years ago] and now Bethany received justice when their rapists were found guilty and sent to prison,I will also be very disappointed if David doesn't get justice with Josh going to prison and remains on the Street tormenting David every chance he gets.
Alya sadly has joined the club of believing someone you've known for a short time over a long time resident.
As things currently stand, there’s nothing for her to believe or disbelieve since no one has told her what Josh did. She’s just dating the guy - can she help it if another resident apparently dislikes him for undisclosed reasons?
